Slokotho Holdings Primary Cooperative Limited is a proudly South African manufacturing cooperative specialising in industrial textile solutions, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), corporate workwear, technical textile products and footwear.

Established in 2011, Slokotho was founded with a simple but ambitious vision:

- To create sustainable employment through world-class manufacturing.

What began as a small cooperative operating from a converted shipping container has evolved into a respected manufacturing partner serving private industry throughout KwaZulu-Natal and beyond. Support from strategic partners enabled the organisation to grow into a fully operational manufacturing business with expanding capabilities and an uncompromising commitment to quality.

Today, Slokotho combines experienced craftsmanship with modern production methods to deliver products that meet demanding industrial standards while investing in people, skills and local economic development.

In 2011, five founding members established Slokotho Holdings in Umlazi to address unemployment and create meaningful opportunities within their community.

The name Silokotho originates from the isiZulu phrase:

"Izilokotho Ezinhle"

Meaning

"Best Wishes."

Those two words continue to define our culture.

They remind us that every garment, every stitch and every product represents hope, opportunity and progress.

As our commitment to quality became recognised, leading industrial textile manufacturers partnered with us, opening doors to new technologies, larger production facilities and broader markets.

Today our journey continues—with the same determination that started it all.
